SpandanYuva Pratishthan, taught students about the importance of trees and afforestation. They are also taught about the ways in which we can keep our environment clean and healthy. Tree plantations are done in the vicinities. Children are encouraged to take care of the planted saplings. Teachers tell them about the absence of trees and elicit responses from them. As a part of this celebration different types of leaves are carried to school.

The students are shown various types of plants like medicinal plants (Neem, Tulsi etc.,) and discussion is held on that. The celebration is held for two days. In year 2017-18 we planted 1000 trees in different schools in Mumbai and suburban
